Corns are a build up of thickened skin that are formed because of excessive pressure and repeated rubbing of the toes. The hard corn is the most common type and found on the tops and tips of toes and the sides of the feet. Soft corns are usually found between the toes. Pain is caused by repeated friction.
- Wearing improper fitting footwear (tight fitting shoes in toe area)
